I am honored to serve as State Representative for Missouri House District 14. I'm grateful to the voters of our district who elected me to this position in 2014 and again in 2016. I will continue to be a courageous voice for our Northland community and our middle-class values.
I currently serve in the 99th General Assembly on the following committees in the Missouri House: Judiciary (Vice Chair); Rules - Administrative Oversight; Transportation; and Special Committee on Litigation Reform.
During the 2017 legislative session, I sponsored and championed several issues, including improving our court system, public safety, and giving Missourians the opportunity to get a driver’s license that complies with the federal REAL ID Act.
I recently was appointed by Governor Greitens to serve on the Governor’s Committee to End Homelessness. I have also been appointed by the Speaker of the House to chair the 21st Century Missouri Transportation System Task Force, which will be seeking solutions for fixing our roads and bridges.
is located in the heart of Kansas City's Northland area and includes portions of southeast Platte County and southwest Clay County. My wife, Amy, and I live and own a home in this district, where we are raising our three children. The district encompasses significant part of northern Kansas City as wells as the communities of Riverside, Northmoor, Houston Lake, Lake Waukomis, and Platte Woods.
